THE OLD WAY

Most coding agents stop at the diff.

A coding agent hands you a diff. You still have to build it, run it, and decide if it actually works.

WITHOUT FACTORYflat
a diffyou check it yourself
THE ATLANTIC WAY

Atlantic gives you a change already built, booted, reviewed.

Factory investigates the problem, writes the patch, boots a live preview, and runs browser QA before opening the pull request.

Investigate

About 60 seconds after a ticket is filed, three finders read the backlog, the support desk and the repository in parallel. A judge picks one problem and writes the thesis.

Three finders. One judge.

Factory reads your backlog, your support desk, and your repository at the same time. Each finder works blind. The judge links what they find, picks one candidate, and writes the thesis.

You choose the repos, Factory never crosses that line.

The repository set Factory may touch is the intersection of your GitHub App install and your own selection. Secrets stay in a per-organization encrypted store, injected at preview boot, never in the repo. SOC 2 Type II compliant, GDPR compliant.

Repository scope

Factory may change only repos in the intersection of your GitHub App install and your own selection.

You choose the set

Pull requests only

Factory opens pull requests. It never merges and never pushes to a default branch.

Human merges every time

Encrypted secrets

Secrets live in a per-organization encrypted store, injected into the preview at boot, never in the repo.

Never in your repo

Preview teardown

Previews idle-stop after 6 hours, carry a 7-day TTL, and are destroyed when the pull request closes.

Realness gate

Every run records each provider as real or fixture. A run flagged real refuses fixture providers.

Call ledger

Every external call a run made is listed with its source, status, and time.

Guardrail on every diff

Each diff is checked before push: a 2,500 changed-line budget, binary rejection, repo-mismatch check.

Audited, not self-certified

Atlantic AI Inc. holds a SOC 2 Type II attestation and GDPR compliance, checked at the company level.

Pay for pull requests, not tokens.

WHAT A CREDIT BUYS

One credit, one pull request. Not one token.

Model tokens and preview compute are included in every plan. A credit is spent only when Factory opens a pull request. Failed and cancelled runs cost nothing.

Effective price per pull request, by plan and model tier
PlanLow, Medium, Auto1 creditHigh1.5 creditsMax3 credits

Price per pull request = monthly price ÷ included credits × the tier's credit cost, rounded to the cent. Pay yearly and each figure is one sixth lower. Extra credits cost $19 each with auto-reload.

  • Pay on PRA credit is deducted only when Factory opens the pull request.
  • Tier pricingLow, Medium, and Auto use 1 credit. High uses 1.5. Max uses 3.
  • Runs without a PRFree up to 3× your included credits each month, then 0.25 credit each.
  • Failures are freeA failed or cancelled run never costs a credit.
  • Annual plans are paid upfront: 12 months for the price of 10.
  • Upgrading mid-year is prorated, and your current credit balance carries over to the new plan.
  • Credits renew monthly. Unused credits roll over to the next month. Your credit balance can never exceed 2× your monthly credits.
  • You can cancel within the first 14 days. Credits you used until then are billed at your plan's monthly list price, and the rest is refunded. The refund never exceeds the amount paid. Rolled-over credits are not refundable. This right applies once per subscription, in the first billing period.
  • Failed and cancelled runs are never charged.
FAQ

Billing questions, answered.

What is a PR credit?

One credit pays for one merge-ready pull request on Low, Medium, or Auto tier. High tier uses 1.5 credits and Max uses 3. A credit is deducted only when Factory opens the pull request.

Do I pay per token?

No. Model tokens and preview compute are included in your plan. You pay per pull request, so the cost of a run does not grow with its token count. Compare it to your current tooling with the per-PR price in the table above.

What happens when my credits run out?

Turn on auto-reload and each extra credit costs $19 (up to 3 a month on Solo), billed with your plan. With it off, Factory pauses until your next billing period. Solo includes 2 credits a month, Team 60 and Scale 200.

Do runs that open no pull request cost anything?

Runs without a pull request are free up to three times your included credits each month. After that each one uses 0.25 credit. Failed and cancelled runs are never charged.

Can we use our own model account?

Yes, on Enterprise. Bring your Bedrock, Azure, or Vertex account, run Factory on-prem or in your VPC, and get SSO, an SLA, and audit logs. Enterprise starts at $60k a year.

When is my card charged?

You save a card during onboarding and pay $0 today. Your plan is charged when your first billing period starts and renews monthly, or yearly on an annual plan, after that.

How does annual billing work, and do unused credits roll over?

Annual plans are paid upfront: 12 months for the price of 10. Credits still renew monthly, and unused credits roll over to the next month, up to a balance of 2× your monthly credits. Upgrading mid-year is prorated and your credit balance carries over.

I am on an earlier plan (Single User, the old Team plan, or pay as you go). What changes?

Nothing. Existing subscriptions keep their current price and terms.
